Good looking roof bars, but aerodynamics and looks limit strength

I'd purchased the rails and two bars last year and bought another two rails to add some extra strenght. They look great and are very easy to assemble and fit. The clamps to the roof rail are plastic, so they flex a bit and not sure how long before the UV takes it's toll. However, the previous ones (1 year old) still look ok. Now I've got 4 bars I wish I'd done that at the start, as they now flex a lot less than they did before under the weight of my SUP and two surfboards....
